A healthy, happy life is one which experiences abundance. This doesn’t refer only to material prosperity but also to strong and supportive relationships, good health, doing work you love and living a life in harmony with one’s own beliefs and values. This sort of true abundance is never accidental. While it may certainly seem that there are those lucky individuals who appear to live a charmed life, true abundance is not accidental. Whether a person harnessing the laws of the universe to experience abundance is doing so unconsciously or otherwise doesn’t really matter. The good news is that anyone can change their lives so they can attract abundance. For anyone who desires more abundance in their life, the starting place must be to be grateful for what they already have. Ingratitude can be a barrier that prevents someone receiving the blessings they desire. Some people are living such stressful and deprived lives that asking them to be grateful might well seem like a slap in the face. However, a thankful heart has a power of its own and looking for the positive in life opens the door to more positive experiences. One way to build a gratitude consciousness is to keep a gratitude journal. Before going to sleep at night, make a list of things that happened during the day that you can be grateful for. It can be helpful to have a minimum number of things you have to list before you can go to bed. For example, if you have decided to list five things you are thankful for every night before you go to sleep you will focus your attention on looking for them. Oftentimes, these things will seem minor to others but they are things that you appreciate. Another important step towards living an abundant life is the need to pay attention to one’s emotional state. Ultimately everything is energy and our habitual emotions can attract things, people or even events that resonate with those emotions. In other words, if people are fearful, anxious or depressed they can attract the very experiences that keep them in those states. Emotions and thoughts are closely linked. So as well as guarding emotions, anyone who wants to attract abundance into their lives also needs to watch the thoughts they think and the words they speak. Changing emotions and thoughts usually involves changing beliefs. After a lifetime of living on autopilot, making these changes can be very challenging but the benefits are well worth it. There are various approaches to accomplishing this and different people will benefit from different methods. In fact, most people will need to use a combination of approaches to change their lives. However, the effort is well worth it. By establishing new beliefs along with mental and emotional habits, individuals can begin to attract new opportunities into their lives which resonate with their new selves.

True abundance is never an accident. It may seem as though some individuals are especially fortunate, however, true abundance is never an accident. Whether you do it unconsciously or by harnessing the laws of the universe to experience your abundance is not important. Anyone can make the changes required for attracting abundance into their lives.
